Love the stargazer lillies. We have some in our yard as well....wont bloom for another month though.

i once took a whole handful of lilys in and made a beautiful table arrangement... company was coming for dinner... in the middle of dinner i started to smell this awful stink..... why do they have to stink so bad..:ROFL:never that again

Apparently the mountain ash berries are safe to eat after boiling. The flavor is reported to be less-than-desirable, but it's a good source of raw starch if you're hungry. Or curious to try it out. But it's a laborious task to go eating bland berry after bland berry, so the recommended serving style is mashed with strong herbs.
