to all fellow flowerhorn enthusiast, i just want to share to you my experienced buying fish in the internet, i was able to find a website selling flowerhorns for good prices, good looking fishes, so got too excited, emailed the website, fast response, send the money order and then fish will be shipped, then transaction was made, fish came to the house, same fish, looking skittish, put in quaranteen tank, put some salt then rest it for a day, tried to feed it but fish has no appetite, fish seemed to be sick or something, observed it then guess what i saw, small reddish brown tubes hanging down its belly, still not eating, emailed the website owner that fish is not doing well, the owner replied the fish is just stressed becaused of the travel, alright but said to him the fish has something (parasites) in it, he said just let him settle, days past fish still not eating and getting more frailed, started to see white poop, tried to medicate, after a gruelling week the fish died, emailed the website owner that the fish died after a week, emailed him pictures of the fish, he said he will replaced it but i have to pay shipping and pay extra for the fish i want, it was very frustrating on my part but cant do anything but to send another money order for another fish which eventually died again after a month or so, i have to wait months to get the replacement fish(lnot a priority buyer anymore huh), i was able to meet a fellow fh hobbyist and guess again, he also got fish from this website and same story that i have, sick fish with parasites, i just want to notify those new to the flowerhorn hobby to be careful in buying fish, check feedbacks and seek first where to get good healthy fishes so you wont be so much disappointed and loose money, loose interest and quit the hobby, we should be careful, people selling unhealthy fish just to make money
