before you buy

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
he was an imported golden monkey as i was told so, he was in the states already for sometime before he was ship to me, i know all of you are wondering where i got him...

that same thing happened to me also he wouldnt eat and got skinny and eventually died but the question is how do u treat them and what do u treat them for????

Sounds exactly like the fish had camellanus (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=camellanus&btnG=Search)
You run that risk with any fish you buy anywhere. I bought my FH from ButtaCrossbreed in Thailand on AquaBid and can vouch for him. Too many independently owned fish shops in my area have camelannus, columnaris and various other health problems with their fish. That's why I don't buy from them.

why burden yourself treating fish with parasites when you should have gotten healthy fish, you paid for the right price you should get a healthy fish, still wondering?????

Yes, you "should've" gotten a healthy fish, but you didn't. I'm not clear as to why you started this thread then....? You won't give the name of the seller to warn others and you don't want to know how the fish should've been treated.....

hmmm.. Maybe because you could have easily saved its life and saved yourself the hassle if you knew anything about fish. Doesn't sound like somebody who deserves to own a nice fish anyways. If you're not going to tell us who you got your fish from this is a waste of a thread.

parasites normally are in wild fish..............
