Got 2 silver dollars today, added them to my tank, Still with all the remaining fish & the blue lobster, their not big enough to kill anything in the tank yet since most(Or all) of the fish in my tank are big.

The blue lobster is also wanting to eat some fish too.

Also, they grouped together with 2 tetra's i had so that's a 4fish group, as soon as they get bigger i think they'll clear the remaining inhabitants(Except the lobster, of course).

So after everybody loaded you up on everything you needed to know about piranhas....you go out and bought silver dollars?

I'm getting the piranha's at christmas, not right now, i heard the RBP's can co-exist in a tank with them since their like some sort of sub-species of piranha or something, so i'm going to see how it goes.

hmmm, sounds a lil risky. Silver Dollars can be timid in community tanks and you're attempting to add baby reds to an already established tank 4 months later. Just re aquascape when you add the reds in. If it were me, i'd have gotten the silver dollars and the reds at the same time so they'd be use to each other's presence and hopefully shoal together. I wish you the best of luck and you'll have to let us know how the experiment goes when it's time to add the reds

No problem & thanks for the help, i'm gonna add in 2 other silver dollars when i add in the reds, that way theirs more of a chance for a shoal, if not i'll just stick the silver dollars in my other tank with my 4" parrot chichlid, hopefully they'll be fine.
