Beginner to saltwater but not the hobby

Little update. I've pretty much completed the cycling process. The live rock and sand helped alot I think. I got two small ocellaris clownfish and one emrald crab. That's all I'm having in there for now but the tank is doing well. Even though I only keep the lights on form 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm my tank is developing a brownish algae

That tank looks really great, but I'm not quite ready to commit to saltwater so instead I will live vicariously through this forum.

the brown stuff may be diatoms. If you have just finished cycling this is normal.

Any thoughts to a clean up crew? E.g. snails, hermits, etc
