all wolfs will be active, its just when they are active is the key, mine used to come out when i got home and swim all around and move to the end of the tank so he could always see me, but then he got scared by someone who came over when he was a baby, so now he doesnt seem to watch me as much, but i still catch him, his newest thing is to sit at the very tippy top of a tree / stumb type fake thing in tank, which is like 3 inchs from the top which i guess isnt normal for wolfs, there is nothing hiding him, he sits there like he is the king of thank. rocks back and forth while sleeping, but he does swim around alot when its dark and the lights are off around 3am, when he swims he does swim reminds me of a snake head when he swims around, you just know he will wreck something. i can almost hand feed him now. i can hold a feeder by the tail stick it in his face, and he acts like a puppy dog, nudging towards the fish more and more, like he is saying come on come come on drop it let me at it lol. i let it go he takes it so fast my fingers are still in the tank never once has he come to bite me, i will clean the tank with my hand, he just swims around to the other side and lets me do my thing. then when im done he goes back up top. i love my wolf, yes not as active as most, but he is fun and does have some personality to him. just need to get em young so they know you, my is now around 5 inches, 5.5 got him around 3.
