I think a dovii will put grow a 180. Sure it's a big tank but dovii get so big.

Just put a Midas in there.

Before the fish comes the nitrogen cycle...please read up on cycling your filters first.

If you want a personable solitary fish that isn't hyper aggressive, but gets big in a 180....pearsei all the way!

A Pearsei would be a great fish for that tank but no need to go solo, could add other stuff since they have a real mellow personality.

If I wanted a large solo fish that would not outgrow that tank and had some personality.... amphilophus chancho

a 180 would be a good sized for a lake malawi style community tank......easy to care for and colorful

or even better and bigger with no experience....oscars 2-3 in a 180 would be cool ....it would allow them plenty of room for growth
