I wasjust wondering... is there a difference in behavior between sexes for jags? Are the females more subdued than the males and can the females be housed with other large fish...or are they all really aggressive

i have had better luck with my female jag in a community tank she just defends here self/territory.The male jag will go out and look for trouble and pick a fight and bully any fish smaller than himself .But this is just the way my pair act jags can have very different personalities and different effects.

It depends on the fish. It will vary. Big train had problems with his male starting trouble, but my 15" male jag never causes any problems and lives with some pretty odd stuff that he could easily kill if he wanted to.

You have so many fish and tanks and all. LOL. Jags are diffrent, I have heard females can me more terrtorial than the males, but hte males like to attack a lot.
