Being Grateful

I constantly hear people stating what they are grateful for, and now that you turned the question on me I expected this to be much easier. I am sitting here thinking about this for the past 15 minutes; I just cant seem to come up with an answer that I am really happy with.
I guess I am with Tainted Glory, I am grateful for the food on the table and the roof over my head. I am grateful for all the things my family has done for me, they are the reason who I am today. I am also grateful to live in a country like United States, as I was not born here and have witnessed some very horrible things around the world.

Personally I am greatful for each new day that I am able to wake up to and take another breath. Life is so fragile its scary. Tainted Glory also nailed it!
the fact that our nation and the world in general is not very inclined to showing restraint on the environment. i am terribly grateful that laws impeding my indirect impact on it are scarce and poorly enforced. I almost feel sorry I wasn't born even earlier, when the environment was a complete non-issue.
