Duece 22 what stores in the OC are slangings Aro's for 8 bucks. If you know the store holla at me. Here in LA a "baby" Aro goes for like 22 easy.

down here in westminster. place called 405 tropical on goldenwest and bolsa. they aren't on sale right now but the last time i was there like 2 days ago they had them for 13 bucks but, that's still pretty damn cheap. they have baby jardinis there at around 3'' for 30 bucks a piece.

That little guy will go for like $40-$50 by me.. Depends on how much rent the store is paying.

:grinno::grinno::grinno: Nope thats for him. They always keep one in that tank around that size. Plus its only like a 10 gallon. I know it sounds crazy but thats just how they get down. www.congressionalaquarium.com I could name a ton of other ridiculously priced fish there too.

At least it's 4.5" in a 10 gallon tank. There's a jerk here who's store is going out of business (thank god) and he has a full size (I'd say 10-12") matured albino Oscar in a 10 gallon tank with no heater (temp is at 71 and you can see the shattered glass shards from a used to be heater all over the substrate in the corner) and a few dead rotted fish around the filter intake in the tank and bloated floating pellets that look like they've been sitting at the surface of the water for a day or two. Plus the poor O looks like he's starting to form some nasty HITH or recovered from some (which I doubt in the poor conditions he's in).

Makes me want to save him but I'm stocked up. :( PLUS knowing all this the moron is trying to sell this O for like 40$! He should give him away for free to someone that knows what they're doing before he kills the poor guy. (chances are he's already too far neglected though)

Silvers that size around here(michigan) are $60-sometimes more depends on the lfs. The 13" + are 125$ and the 20"+ are around $200.

The higher dollar amount may land the aro a more suitable home with better informed owners--I don't know could go both ways.
