Belly crawler pike cichlid

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have no experience with pike cichlids. I’ve been on google and the pike cichlids that I think would work are the Lepidota or the Belly crawler.
If anyone knows of another that might work better please let me know.

Dwarf pikes will definitely not be able to eat the giant danios. As far as aggression, I would rather put a bellycrawler or saxatilis type (lepidota, etc.) with a GT.

I would at least double the giant danios.

Would a bichir be able to eat a dwarf pike?

I was planning on getting rid of the giant danios eventually. I will only be getting Senegal bichir so they will be 12 inches at most. I will probably go with the belly crawler or lepidota so there is no chance of them being eaten by the bichir.

I just did a search on google for the temperature and ph for a belly crawler. It said they need it to be around 6. Would 7.3 be to high for them?

I will go with the belly crawler then

Does anyone know a good place to get a belly crawler pike cichlid?
