I am interested in getting a belly crawler pike soon. I just wanted to know if I can keep it with a jack dempsey, a firemouth, and a convict in a 75 gallon.

Give it's own cave like space.PVC works, but is poop on the eyes.

I've noticed when they settle in they like to act 6 times their size.
Or you may get lucky and get a passive specimen.

Could I maybe scorch the pvc or just paint it black with some krylon fusion? or just get a piece of abs pipe? what size pipe do you recommend?

i would go with black abs, but i'm pretty sure lots of ppl use krylon fusion with success.
