Yes these guys need a covered tank, like most surface feeders they are quite prone to jump.

Picked up my TWO fish today and luckily enough one of them is a male, cause I would have had quite a wait to try and find another one.

They are looking really nice and are both about 3", when they were floated for a minute in a tetra tank at the LFS they were going crazy trying to get at them so they are pretty full of life.

Am going to drop some krill in later so hopefully they will be hungry enough to give it a go.

These fish are pretty neat. Has anyone seen these available in the US?

The males eating krill straight of the bat, hopefully the female will follow suit soon or else the male could end up on the menu himself!
