There are breeds of cat called "Desert Lynx Cat" and "Highland Lynx Cat" and sometimes just "Lynx Cat".

A Canadian Lynx (I think what you mean by "true Lynx") will not crossbreed with a Domestic cat such as a Bengal. They are not only a different species, but a different genus as well (Lynx canadensis). They are fairly large wild cats that can prey on deer.
im pretty sure its the domestic breed, its not too large and has those crinkled little ears.

is it a real lynx or lynx hybrid im wondering. i doubt it was that easy or cheap to obtain a real lynx. i like the kittis in the link i acutally think those ears are cute. and yeah i guess why would u mix two breeds to make another but its the same as those peope who post here wanting to breed there green terrors to blood parrots just for shiggles to see what they look like.

i wanna see pics is all i say :D oh and a kitten would be nice too :)
it wasnt cheap, but i dont remember how much he told me he got it for. his is smaller so i'd say a hybrid species.

MAN, that was a lot of quoting. whew!

Its not that unlikely (but Im with you in that I think maybe its one of the domestic cat breeds;)) After all savanahs were created crossbreeding domestic cats with servals wich is a cross genus hybridacion. As are bengals wich were created cross breeding domestic cat breeds with asian leopard cats wich belong to a diferent genus. But anyways this kittens are going to be awesame:D

I really don't think a Canadian Lynx could crossbreed with a domestic cat. There are gestation period differences that would make it highly unlikely, as well as the obvious size difference. There have never been confirmed hybrids, although many have made claims.

Servals and Domestic cats are much closer in size, they still have problems with first-generation crosses of Servals and Domestics due to the gestational difference.

I'm not saying it is impossible, but so far it hasn't happened.

u cant even find a bengal for a 100
are u crazy?
id sell em for atleast 300 each
eh, the way he sees it is that he bought these as pets, not really for a profit, and he didnt even expect offspring because the female hates the male. he is just happy for the experience, and to be making a little spending money.
aha and anyways, hes already breeding sugar gliders, and that he expected to make some money off of.
