Bering sea fishing Video

It was one of the clipper boats, and we were doing black cod/turbot.

I know we were on a pair of sister ships that went out together. I think mine might have been Clipper Express? I know that was the name of one of the two boats...

And I tried to be cool with the fisherman. Most of them were nice, some not so nice, but it didn't really bother me.

And it is a small world :). I have to say, those 6 weeks on the boat, while hard work (18 hour days for the most part for me), was pretty amazing to experience.

Here's the Express when it was called the "Hessa Fjord" I was the deck boss on that boat back then for a few yrs. This was an icy season.

Hey, I was the Observer on the Alaska Mist for the 2010 A-Season..... What's up? Nice Boat, Excellent Crew. I do miss helping Miguel, Jorge and his brother bleed the cod.
