Berries!!

South Carolina or Santa Cruz, California? I live In Santa Cruz and there are blackberries everywhere here, its pretty awesome.

We had a good crop of strawberries last summer, and I'm planning on planting a blackberry this summer (although we have wild ones growing down the fence by our driveway, not very big or sweet though). Friends parents in another town live about five minutes away from a massive berry farm, many a good summer there eating fresh berries by the kilo...
 
Hard year for berries. Strwaberries were ok, raspberries starting up... Blackberrys are amazing here. I love gooseberries but my bush died and I forgot to get a new one before the season started. Same with blueberries.
 
There are lots of mulberry trees along the bike trail I walk my dogs along that we took full advantage of.
