yea he is very light for a mal. all the other ones ive seen are much darker. since switching tanks his bar along his lateral line and the ones from his eyes have darkened but his main colour is still very light. hopefully he stays like that. im expecting to have to put him into at least a 75 if not a 100gal in about 3-4 months cuz i know they grow fairly quick.

it's def a mala. it might be stressed from its previous terrible living conditions.
 
i dont think hes stressed any more. he ate a couple floating jumbo carnistix this morning. he has darkened up a bit but not much at all.
 
Heres some updated pics for you to show how hes darkened up a bit. he is however going to be sold today. but to another guy on the site so he should keep u updated on this guy.
