Rams are not your average every day beginners fish!!!!! convicts or the Kribensis. either or. cons are crazy and Kribs are colorful. both very very easy fish to raise and breed. you could also keep like 5 or 6 tiger barbs or giant danios in the mix and shouldnt have a problem.......UNTIL THEY BREED then..... 
, we already have an agreement dude. THat if he gets convicts, their babies are food for my spectabile.
