Best Algae Eater

The best I've had is my flagtail. He's been doing such a good job, I just got another baby a few weeks ago. I've now got one that's about 7" and the new guy is a little under 3". The only problem with these guys is that they get BIG and are fast when spooked. Right now, the bigger one is in a 150 and the little guy will be moving into my 75 in a few months. They aren't particularly fast growers, so I've got a while, but they'll need bigger tanks in a few years.
I'm a big fan of Siamese Algae Eaters. They help keep algae under control and are pretty good at scavenging leftover food scraps.
I have a 8'' sailfin pleco, and he keeps my 125 algae free. The only problem is he is no stranger to taking a fat dump.
16" common(rescue) in a 125g that never misses a spot. Fills up on food scraps that stay into the night. Also does a good job at moving my sand around too

I second the BN plecos. Stay relatively small, and two will keep a 90g algae free.

BNP's are the best at algae eating. Otos are about the only fish better oz for oz, but they wouldn't last too long in an MFK tank.
