Flagtails pwn all...

...Other than the tank requirement of what, 250 gallons? lol

For small tanks, Bristlenose Plecos kick, but for a coolwater tank, Trapdoor Snails are great.

Get a flagtail. They're a lot better at eating algae and look 10x better IMO than common plecos. Plus, they don't leave a long trail of poop everywhere like plecos do.

I had algae everywhere on my 100g and then I bought 2 flagtails from All Happy. Literally, they ate it all up in 24 hours. No plecos I've had could ever do that.

Flagtails are the best algae eaters. One is probably all you need to clean up a big tank in a hurry.

They do get huge, but it takes a long time. I don't really know what typical growth is for them, but mine has gone from 3" to 7" in like a year and a half. I figure he has another couple years before he really outgrows my 150.

I have a 8'' sailfin pleco, and he keeps my 125 algae free. The only problem is he is no stranger to taking a fat dump.
