best algae eating pleco

Bristlenosed for me. I have a normal and an albino. They never stop eating!

Actually my little rubber lipped. I have one in my 90. He hangs on the glass all day and night. Actually out did my bn as far as keeping down the algae.

i had a gold nugget and a royal and they just destroyed all of my plants.

Bristlenoses will not destroy any plants.

i have had them in my tanks for a long time and my plants are fine.

what kinda plants? how big is the BN?

Rubberlipped or sometimes called bulldog plecos which max out around 6 inches will not bother plants.

I've had BN in with HC, Anubias, Wisteria, Java/Christmas Moss,Java Ferns.

in the HC/Moss tank the Bn were small prob less than 3 cms

in the 5x2x2 with the other plants they range from babies to adults.
