ok lol didnt see you got the pod
It's alright thanks for the advise, ya I found a pretty good deal on the aquapod.

Picked up the tank today. Does anyone know how to get the purple algae off easy? Vinegar work? Its got quite a bit on the black built in filter part, all and all nice, no scratches from what I could tell, I took a pretty good look. Pump lights all work, getting a stand and hopefully I can find some cheap liverock and get it set up.

you could use white vinegar to get the coraline algae off. you could even fill it up with the vinegar but really rinse it out several time's till the vinegar smell is gone.

I will get an update and status of the tank soon, I've been pretty busy. I can't decide on any fish to put in it! I have a few corals and 45lbs of live rock, yes I fit 45lbs into a 24 gallon! lol

If unsure for fish just wait and let the tank age and enjoy it and do some research till you setup your ideal stock list.

Pics! No fish 1 cleaner shrimp, 10crabs, and a few corals.
To start, can't decide on fish. haha

nice, what kind of substate is that?
It is just some kind of basic coral substrate, not the sand it is more like small gravel. I had it left over from my other setup.

Also have a koralia nano pump running in the corner. Dr fosters also has koralia 40%off so I ordered a koralia 1. Might be way to much flow, hard to tell when you have no fish, but if flow is to much I will just keep it for for one of my freshwater tanks, or maybe throw the nano in the 12g and upgrade the 24 to the koralia 1.
