The deep south
Finally taking a trip down to my parents place in Bradington Florida, from what i understand there very close to the Sarasota Aquarium as well as siesta keys. Im free from may 5th-9th to explore. Is Sarasota aquarium my best bet, or are there any other places i should try and find to view sharks? Sorry to post in the shark/ray section, but i know ur down there somewhere Zoodiver lol. It kills me to leave my own sharks for 6 days but they should be fine :(

I am not sure if you are near the coast. If you are take the discover scuba course and dive with sharks in their natural habitat. Much better then the aquarium.

Def. Have to look into that, this is my first trip down since theyve had the house for 2years lol....it is almost impossible for me to leave my 27 tanks unattended as i dont trust anyone to really "watch" them for me. Thanks for the info!

In FL, your best bet is definitly the FL Aquarium in Tampa. Disney's Living Seas is pretty cool as well if you want to drop the $$ to get in.

Florida aquarium is the best. They have a huge shark aquarium with schooling heron in it. Also has another large exibit with lots of bull sharks. As for freshwater coolest thing there is an aligator gar.

I'm guessing you are thinking of the Sandbar sharks (aka Brown sharks). They look similar, but have a narrower rostrum and the pectoral fins come to a point quicker. Bulls have a more squared off nose and broad pectoral fins.
