Best Arowana LFS I've EVER seen

Been there many times. High quality fish there. Nice reds and golds. Some are $8000 or more. That display tank is killer! What type of aro are you looking for?

they mainly sell show fish, which is why discus are there as well.

i like the salt tank they have in the middle of the store, which is probably 10'x5'x1'. and a massive sump under. would be great to use for rays or....turtles.

Yea its the first store in Toronto that specializes in high end arowanas only. Reminds me of many shop setups in Singapore.

However the one downside I find is that they only sell mid-large size arowanas. I would assume that most of the consumers and hobbyists here would prefer to raise small arowanas and grow them up.

I go to Dragon Aquarium on Dundas all the time.. they have lots of nice Fh in there..

I have to check out this place you speak of.. Did they have any bichirs or just mostly Aros?

Wow, that is awesome. I'm sure the website doesn't do any justice to seeing it in person. Makes me want to drive up to Canada.

they probably do that so they can be more sure of the quality of the aro.....same w/ show quality discus, gotta wait to see the true quality, when young kinda hard to tell exactly what it will grow into.

x2, very high quality aros at that shop. I think they only sell at such large sizes as they sell show fish, so they would sell the bigger aros as they have their colours showing already instead of having a smaller one with colours still developing. Would be nice if they sold smaller aros as well though. I also see them get stingrays once in a while.
