Yea it's ok but it's really messy lol I might keep it, I think I will get a black sand substrate and see how it looks.

Sorry for late reply , ive currently got black back and no substrate clear bottom (mostly for waste and cleaning reasons) i have however put dark grey carpet tiles underneath my tank but you can only see them from certain angles , i do think its helped to darken tank though
