I like using a 2" Senko. I think they stopped making them though. Are you only wanting to use artificial?

where ya going? alot of it depends on the location. Usually any kind of plastic grub with or without a spinner is usually good to catch something. I went to a private pond this weekend and caught a bunch of bass/bluegill on helluva jigs.

try "trout magnets" for blue gill and smaller pan fish. you can buy them at wal mart. i was out the other day at a private pond and landed 32 blue gill on them.

I missed bass on the list. If you are night fishing for bass and the temp is up I would run a Buzzbait, or a topwater jerkbait/ popper. Make plenty of noise and they will nail it. If you have no luck there try a lipless crankbait like a (Rattle Trap). It has alot of noise and vibration to call them in. Good luck!

well i use a peach colored roostertail and got some and then i used some worms hah and got lots of bluegill and netted some tadpoles and my absolutly best thing ive ever netted a baby softshell turtle!!!!

try a medium size jitter bug for evening bass. should have them at wall mart.

Perch and bluegills nail a Ice fishing Pinky w/wax worm. My newphew caught 7 gills on corn this past weekend. A simple small hook w/corn and a bobber on a Scooby-do pole and he had good results, til he fell off the dock.

I use plastics for bass by me. Carolina rigged, purple, skipped under docks and around logs kills bass after 5:00. I do throw a buzz bait or top water Rapala every now and again, since I like the strike action.
