Best Bang For the Buck Camera Under $350

what is the best bang for the buck camera under $350. Need something that takes great pic and decent shutter speed. need to be able to snap 2-3 shots continuously without 30sec delay.

I am very interested in this answer myself.

I currently have a 12mp kodak point and shoot and the pics are OK but they delay between shots is horrid.
 
a used nikon D40 maybe :)

The problem is camera do not hold up to abuse well. I am afraid to buy used unless I know the person well.
 
Besides a DSLR I've got a Sony DSC-W300, at burst shots at 13.3 megapixels you can go 1.9fps. But at extra high speed burst shot at 3 megapixels you can go as fast as 5fps. I've got one with the optional telephoto lens and wide angle lens. I like it, because its a portable camera with decent picture quality. You can find it for about $250.

I definitely agree to look for a used dslr. You can also check ebay or some used gear shops online. Its not worth pouring $350 into a new point and shoot when you can get a used dslr that's capable of so much more.

I've found used DLSR's like D40's even some D80's and some Xt's and XSi's for that price range on craigslist.
