Good choices!

The only adjusting that can/needs to be done to make wetter or dryer skimmate(it is personal preference to which) is by moving the rubber ring around the collection cup up and down.

I would get one more powerhead for the other side of the tank to really push water all over, but otherwise you are good to go.
