Thats odd, I've generally seen guys use one aerator per bucket???

Also aerators wouldn't control ammonia in any way
just for the sake of confusion, I meant like ok say you have 30 baitfish and a 5g bucket, but you have a 2nd 5g bucket , the option to keep 15 fish in each bucket is safer for ammonia levels than all 30 in one bucket. Air hose just makes oxygen of course, but you can keep them longer for car rides and stuff if you distribute th fish more sparsely in multiple bucketsDepends on how much power it has....why buy more if you don't need to? Figure , most air pumps are rated to at LEAST 10g......why not split it for two 5g, control ammonia levels better
