best bichir for a noob

You guys aren't going to believe me, but my LFS has a 26" Senegal! It's the biggest Bichir I have ever seen in person, and it's a FRIGGIN SENEGAL!. I forget what they're called.... but I heard that the ones that look like Senegals with a spot stay around 6", so that would be my advice. However I have a Senegal and I never expect it to surpass 1', and I won't even it expect it to grow that large..... but there are some monsters. 'hint hint'

Sure its not a lapradei? I know my lfs has them labeled as Senegals. If not, pictures!

It was at Forest Lake Pets but it got sold. It was a steal, like $150. Lucky guy who got that. I'm sorry I did not have a camera with me therefor no pictures.
