Best bottom feeder with my fish?

Sooo easy question, 2 plecos have been killed. What will survive with my jd and con and do a good job cleaning the tank? Any recommendations?

Well I know their job isn't to clean (thats my job) as they need their own diet, so basically I'm asking what won't get killed and still help maintain a cleaner bottom?

Four line cats are pretty cool and mine does find with my jd. Ive never had any problems with plecos being killed by my jd though.
How big is the tank?

I've had luck by putting lots of snails in my cichlid tank. a few will survive to form a clean up crew assuming they don't roll over.

I have two berdmorei loaches with flowerhorn, bleekeri,gt,and green Texas. They do great cleaning up scraps from the bottom. They say you should have at least 5 to spread aggression. Mine fight but they don't do any damage to themselves.

Pictus or 4 line cats(same thing with different patters) get along with basically everything
