Minot ND
so today i went to my local flea market. for those of you who don't kno what that is it's Buffalo NYs version of a giant garage sale. anyway.. i was looking for a small filter to buy for my 29 gallon tank i have back in ND that im soon to establish into a saltwater tank. and what do i find? what i think to be a 28 gallon tall tank with 45 degree corners. came with tank, lights, top, penguin 170 biowheel (no wheel though), a long airstone and an air pump. for how much you all ask? only 30 dollars. (luckily i got him down from 35 or i may not have bought it) NOT! anyways, ive been on vacation in NY and am goin back to ND in a week so ill keep everybody posted on this tank as i build it up. heres a few pics till i get it set up. i like this tank much better than my boring rectangular 29 gallon. what ive done alredy is cleaned everything, painted the back of the tank blue, cut all the lighting out of the hood to make room for the LED lights im going to install, and dremelled out some of the top to make room for more appliances on the back of the tank, (filters, powerhead, heater, skimmer. etc.) let me kno what you all think so far.

I love flea markets. It's been awhile since I've been to one and I wouldn't have thought to look at a flea market for a tank, but it's actually probably a good spot to go for that. Welcome to the north. :)

i once found a 55g tank, lids, lights, decor, whisper filter, biowheel 200, 2 hydor 400w heaters, cyphon, fish food and rena xp4 at a yardsale once. bought it for $25 lol. Since i had recently bought an xp4 from petsmart, i returned the one from the yardsale and got a $245 store credit!!

i wouldnt have bought it let alone posted about it if it wasnt such a cool shape. i measured it and did the math and its ~24 gallons. those 45 degree really screwed with me. for cichofitall.. yes its gonna b a saltwater. but i didnt c a seperate section for saltwater. can you put the link up for it? i cant find it anywhere!
