i wouldnt have bought it let alone posted about it if it wasnt such a cool shape. i measured it and did the math and its ~24 gallons. those 45 degree really screwed with me. for cichofitall.. yes its gonna b a saltwater. but i didnt c a seperate section for saltwater. can you put the link up for it? i cant find it anywhere!

You should go to Home Depot and buy a dual T5 fixture to put in there. I bought a 4' one and it was only $35.

i went there and lowes cuz i picked up a 18 inch bulb. thts the biggest i can fit in there. problem is they dun have 18 light fixtures NEWHERE. the only thing i could find was under cabinet lighting tht would just dwarf the hood. lol. im just gonna stick with my LED bar idea and see how tht goes. should b bright enuf. ill post pics up in a few days when i get back to ND. im still on vacation b back there on sunday. its the only thing im lookin forward to when i go back.

alrite im back! so what ive done is basically set up the whole tank. took a day (sunday) to set up, added some beneficial bacteria stuff to start the cycle, and added some fish the next day (monday). ive got 2 green/blue chromis. im running a penguin 170 biowheel, 2 powerheads and bought about 15 lbs of rock (12 pounds uncured, 2.5 live) i figured everything will start moving over in the next few weeks to the uncured stuff. i also added a cleaner shrimp in on tuesday. anytime i read stuff abt saltwater online, it said to be patient, but it seems to be a lot quicker than i thought. ALOT quicker. everybodys doing fine so far. im actually planning to trade all my breeded mollies for store credit and pick up a bredded pair of ocellaris clownfish. included are pictures of my custom lighting system. i bought 4 LED bars offline, and an AC adaptor. it makes the tank look exceptionally brilliant. tell me what you think. im going to keep posting updates as i go. thanks!
