no.. but can get one, which is a good one to buy for this? but this salt is ok to use and does it measure out the same way?

pure salt is pure salt..... mike and some guys in asia are the only ones here who bennifit from buy 50# bags of salt.... i stick with 3 pound boxes of morton kosher... its easy to store and keep away from moisture salt is just a big sponge and you can really just buy what you need...

bcuz the 3lb box is $3.50+tax each and i was just thinking i could try and save a few bucks seeing how a 50lb bag is only $4 and some change..

and no i dont use salt all the time only when something is wrong and need to treat the fish alittle.. AND about 2 weeks ago i got one that has a REALLY REALLY bad burn on her from the previous owner, and it is slowly healing over the course of the last 2 weeks and i started with adding 3lbs per 100 gallons and doing a 50% WC a day and top off with about a pound and a half of salt, so u can see it is adding up quick for me right now..

so it is ok to use it? and do u dose it the same amount as the kosher salt?

Why would you need to buy salt in bulk? Commercial breeders may have a reason.

If you need that much salt, you have bigger problems.

why not? its all about being effecient with your money. you wanna buy the "aquarium" salt in cute packages, go ahead. but its sooooo much more cheaper to buy a big bag of it
