Best Canisters?

Everyonw out there i think will be thinking wat an idiot but i just using an internal powerfilter on my 100litre unsure with gallons we dont use in australia. but was thinking on going on a big canister.
any opinions would be great thanks

I m happy with the big ehiem cannister i use for my 5ft tank.

Rena Filstar XP4 and Fluval FX5

i swear by my rena xp3. has run for 6+ years now with nothing but an o-ring change.

All of these filter are far to big for his tank.

I'd recommend looking at either an Eheim 2026 or Eheim 2215 or 2217. These are all very good filters.

Since you're new at this I would recommend a Rena xP over an Eheim Classic. The reason being that it will be much easier to set up and use correctly, although admittedly the Eheims have much more media volume at the same price points but that isn't so important with your size tank. I have both a Rena xP3 and Eheim Classic 2217, both are superb.

I like Eheim Pro II 2026 and 2028. Rena Filstar XP3 would also be another filter. Plus when you upgrade your tank you can use these filters and just add another.

So it looks as if you have a 26 gallon tank. What is the current stock of the tank? Do your water parameters show that your tank is underfiltered?

Being your in australia I am not sure what filters are available to ya. One of the eheims that Wyldfya suggested would do a great and I know there are other ausie member here on MFK running them.
