Im a die hard camaro....baby brother to the Vette....fan....love them both. Im more into the 4th gen camaros....98-02 LS1 motors...lots of potential. A site to get lots of knowledge for all camaros and plenty of other stuff is....

Yeah, I love the 3rd gen camaro. I have checked out the thirdgen.org, but I was kind of looking for a place to confer and ask specific questions.

I am only 17. This will be my second car. My first, and current, is a stock (scratch that, minimully modded) 2004 Cav coupe. I am going to sell this beast. I have about $5000 saved up from working, x-mas, etc. and would like to buy a 1991 RS project car and fix her up.

Yup, that's the only site you need. Lots of guys with lots of knowledge. I found my way there when I had my 98 Z28. Being 17, a 3rd gen would be your best bet anyway, because the insurance on a 4th would rape you. Trust me .

Any car insurance will forcefully rape a 17 yr old guy.

But the thing is, the pops says he will pay for the insurance :
He kind of wants this to be a father/son project, so chances are he will pay a large portion of car costs as well :
