Best Cichlid for my tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
An umbee maybe, you want something to grow quickly, jags grow slow ime and will likely get eaten. Flip side is the umbee will likely batter everything in a tank that size... I'm with jaws don't add anything yet. Add a bigger grow out once the big tank is running.

wouldn't add anything else to that grow out tank unless you can do bi-daily water changes since any thing else will probably overload your bio filter.

Id post pictures of the build but its being professionally done, so i can't. I can and will post pictures once its up and running though......Thanks for all the opinions

Professionally done.....as in built? Or professionally installed? Post pics of the install. Everybody wants to see all the details of how it's set up, the sump, the pumps--all that.

You can't just flit through here and say "1,000 gallon" like its no big deal. . People want details! People here spend half their day at work scheming about how they will/won't get a big tank like that in the house. To deny us pics of real people doing it at THEIR house is just sadistic.

So start us off with at least a quick peek. Who's building the tank? How big is the sump?
