Since those pictures were taken, I have taken off a HOB filter, added an XP3, and a MaxiJet 1200. I've added a bit more rock work and driftwood as there were a few inhabitants added. Some of you may have heard, he killed a 10" Hoplias within a month of owning him. He's calmed down so much since then and he does not bother anyone. My Hoplias would still be alive if it wasn't for that.
I acquired a wild caught Crenicichla lenticulata several months ago, who is doing great. He doesn't come out a lot, but here are the few pictures I have of him...
These were taken before I had to move the tank. I had to rearrange the driftwood and such to give everyone new territories.
I don't have any pictures of the newest addition yet, but my buddy gave me a free Parachromis dovii. He was roughly five inches when I got him two months ago. He's growing well, and is getting a lot of blue to his fins. He likes to pick fights with the pike (who is almost double his length). When my Dovii starts getting bigger, I will have to move him into a new tank.
