All I know is, discus are SA cichlids, and I like 'em. So I guess if that makes me a snob... so be it.

Festae and red headed cichlids are my fav. Also even though they are hybrids I love Flowerhorns !

Convicts are one of my favorite fish. They are seriously under credited.

I guess I can understand that... I get what your saying.

I just like cool looking, colorful cichlids, and discus fit the bill for me... as do the cichlids on my list, and many that I did not include, for risk of having a list too long! LOL...

In some form or fashion, I like and/or appreciate all cichlids... even those I would not keep.

I love oscars for different reasons than I love argentaes... with I love for different reasons than I love discus... wich I love for different reasons than I love bocourti... and festae... etc., etc., etc. And I haven't even mentioned the africans I love! LOL...

Cichlids are so versatile, there's something for everyone!
