best drill bits for acrylic?

title is pretty self-explanatory. if i go to the 'po or sears this weekend what brand/type of drill should i buy to drill holes in the top of my acrylic tank for the returns?
 
get some diamond tiped ..as long as there good quality..and make sure u dont slip..but maybe iwake

you dont need a diamond drill for plastic !!!!

how big is the hole ???

over half an inch use a hole saw.....if you go this route best to drill half way from each side to prevent cracking...run slow and a little soapy water for coolant.

I like this style of bit,I have them for small holes & up tp 1"
Anything larger I would use a good holesaw

nope none,just gotta have sharp bits

I drilled 98 holes in a row with this one to make a drip plate,just had to let the bit cool between holes
 
wow i was right with the diamond..we used anti freeze for drilling tanks at my old work
