I went out in a 12 foot aluminum boat in October. Keep in mind this is Minnesota. It was a windy day, but I wanted to go fishing. A "rogue wave" about 3 feet high came over the back side of my boat and filled it. It was about 45 degrees out and my boat started sinking. In order to save the boat I jumped out. After I was out there was enough buoyancy left to keep it afloat. I swam back to shore with the boat in tow. Froze my ass off but saved my stuff. Froze my ass off. A week later, I sank it again. But that's another fail for another post.
