Best feeder fish to breed for dats?

I have nothing against pellets at all. I have every intention of feeding them carnivore to add variety and to use possibly as a staple. I'm not sure though.

I was just answering the OP's question. No worries, just sayin'.

I also want a decent explanation as to why pellets are superior to live food, other than being disease free and cheaper. But no has offered and it seems the bandwagon is pretty full.
