I've noticed that the Jag only eats a selective portions of the food I have to offer. Does not eat the crickets, just kills them and Oscar then eats them. Good teamwork I suppose!
My pair are pretty picky, they eat the Hikari Gold pellets but only the small ones. Tried them on the larger pellets they didn't like those won't touch them.
My 25cm female is very picky. Her favourite is Hikari floating cichlid pellets and only the large ones. Feeders are the only other thing. Have tried bloodworms, crays, shrimp, veges, various other pellets and stick foods and she ignores the lot.
