Best filter for 10g planted tank

haha thanks alot bitteraspects, you have been alot of help. Just one more questions, i was looking at the site http://www.adgshop.com/SearchResults.asp the place to get these lily pipes but i dont actually see any 9mm pipes, do they only carry 9mm ones in local stores?

lol yeah they do cost alot of money, but they look reallly nice. Id be willing to spend that money if i cant find something else cheaper
 
yeah im ganna have to do abit of research , once i find out a way to get some GeX soil i can start planning to get the filter stuff.
 
Yeah i was ganna do ada aquasoil but i heard alot of good things about "GeX shrimp and plant" soil, so ever since then its been a quest to get some. Haha im not even sure how much better Gex is then AdA soil, it might not even be much at all but since iv been searching for GeX soil for such along time its the only kind i want.
 
UG filter is a very bad option for any planted tank
i would suggest you get a Zoomed 501 canister or a ehiem 2213
 
fluval fx5..

joking just get a small whisper filter, the plants should do most of the filtering
