i wanted to start up a quarantine tank for feeder fish. i don't know much about quarantine and very small tanks. so i need a little information on the set up of one. the feeders will either be small minnows/ rosy reds more specifically.

any information and pictures given would be much appreciated
thanks!

small hob filter.... sponge filter....

sponge filter would be the cheapest and most practical seeing you dont use any carbon filters with what ever meds you will use on the tank.

since their feeders and you dont want them getting sick, i would get a half way decent filter as to keep their water clean and them as unstessed as possible.

i would get the aquaclear 20. you should be able to find it nice and cheap online.

just get a hydro sponge and a air pump...

thats the kinda answers i wanna see!!!
thank u keep em coming!!

Aqua clear 20 for sure. I got my 50 sorted out on my moms tank and it is a great filter. Plus goldfish are messy and you do not want to have to constantly buy cartridges. With aquaclear you just rinse out sponges and reuse.
