Best filter for a Betta?

I'm not at all impressed by that "article". Nothing more than an editorial, and really just common sense stuff. Just set up hob as far over to one side as possible and/or set up objects that would impede current (plants, rocks, dw, ornaments). As long as the tank is not set up as a river tank, betta will be fine.

No need at all to have a filter on the tank. Just siphon out waste and do partial water changes...

Too funny... I did this back in the 90's

Mine was a small kitchen container. I put in a few rocks(for weight). Some filter and carbon.

I still use them...As a kid every tank seemed air driven, either a corner filter loaded with filter floss and cartbon or undergravel; at least every combo/kit sold had one.
