  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
a group of albino chinese algae eaters will make short work of the algae on your plants.. plus they are schooling fish too!

Maybe i had a different species but last time i kept Chinese Algae Eaters they stopped taking interest in algae a a quick liking to fishes slime coats...

My pleco in the 200G is about as bad, except instead of algae eats left over seafood from my puffer...

aren't they the same fish?

No SAE and CAE are two different fish. The SAE which I referred to earlier as a flying fox is one of the few fish that will eat black beard algae. Crossocheius siamensis is the fish you want, the black stripe will run from the tip of the nose right through the end of the fork on the caudual fin.

Thanks! I never knew...
