TFH is the best you can order old issues and all content is available if you sign up online. Your focus on the amazon and rift lakes will most likely be found online. Unless you write to TFH or another magazine asking specific questions etc

I dont subscribe to them but TFH is about the best mag of the ones that are available.I always look to see the 'Top of The Foodchain' feature that TFH has.Practical Fishkeeping is also pretty good but not always easy to find,then there is FAMA-Freshwater and Marine Aquarium.

I subscribe to TFH and I also love reading the monthly pamphlets from DFS and TFP.

both TFH and PFK are excellent publications both are available on line also.I am willing to bet the most knowledgable people on fish forums subscribe to at least one of the above and most have small libraries of fish books also-Anne

TFH is by far the best freshwater magazine!
