Feeding terrestrial proteins and carbohydrates is an outdated and poor choice of feed. For a healthy and beautiful flowerhorn feed a well balanced premium cichlid pellet and if your flowerhorn has the genetic potential to be beautiful that's all it takes. Beware of far east fish feeds especially anything flower horn specific. Okiko and such are poor quality pellets crammed full of fillers and only designed to get your cash.
