best food for carnivore

anyone have a good food(diet) for a large carnivore that is in brackish water?

what species of carnivore? I would still use a high quality pellet as a staple and use market shrimp and other fresh seafood of that nature

its actually a carnivorous turtle that lives in brackish water. when i give pellets she gets so fat and poops alot(lots of starch and fillers in most brands even Hikari). when i give raw fish (human grade salmon/inverts/porgy etc) there is literally no poop as all the food is absorbed and there is no undigested waste as pellets are mostly filler. what pellet do you use?
i think im going to stick to natural diet as if in the wild .

is it a diamondback terrapin? I've always wanted one. I've heard mazuri is a good brand, somewhat hard to obtain though.

I'd say other fish or shrimp that you get from you're local supermarket.
